Arcana Magica is a card game played with a custom-designed Tarot deck and a set of dice. In 60 minutes you will master the four elements, build an army, and become a Tarot magician.
Each of the poker suits that we know today (spades, hearts, etc.) comes from the old Minor Arcana Tarot suites. And each of them corresponds to an element in nature - water, air, fire, and earth. Same goes for the Major Arcana, where each of the 22 cards there is part of that element.
In Arcana Magica you use the poker cards as mana to summon and activate units in your Army. When you - you'll roll a number of dice, based on the units to determine the damage done to the opponent. Keep their Units as trophies or summon them back in your Army and win the game.
Being a real magician, you can also transform each of the elements into gold. Obtain spells either by using this gold or immense amounts of mana directly to turn odds in your favor.
Arcana Magica comes with an Automa player and a special setup just for it. This would help anyone get to know the game and try beating the automated player, which is not an easy task. If you like the challenge - use the Automa player in games with friends as well.
