Aye

Aye is a cooperative pirate board game where the player will be part of a crew in a ship that is under the attack of a Kraken. One player will assume the role of captain and will be in charge of planning the round strategy, while the other players (the crew) will execute that strategy, to try and complete four different missions: fire cannons, attack with swords, set sails and steer the wheel away from the Kraken. As the mission unfolds, players will win and lose reputation and, if the captain's reputation is too low, the crew members with high reputation will be able to declare a mutiny, to nominate a new captain of the ship.

Aye is a dice rolling game with a high social component and push-your-luck mechanics. It has 12 custom dice which are dealt by the captain to the players, who will roll them to complete the missions. But receiving damage and losing too much reputation can make you lose those dice.

"Aye" (pronunciado "ai") es un juego cooperativo social de dados diseñado por Javier Velásquez (Xanadú) y Ana María Velásquez en el que los jugadores asumen el rol de piratas en un barco atacado por un Kraken. Sin embargo, ¡colaborar cuando se es un pirata no siempre es fácil y obedecer al capitán no siempre es la mejor opción!

Aye fue lanzado en el SpielTage de Essen 2016, en Alemania. En este juego, un jugador hará el rol del Capitán del barco pirata bajo ataque del Kraken. El Capitán deberá darle órdenes a los demás jugadores con unas fichas de comando para que ellos cumplan la misiones necesarias para escapar del Kraken: Izar velas, cambiar rumbo con el timón, disparar cañones y atacar con espadas. Sin embargo, su tripulación podrá decidir si seguir las órdenes de su capitán o si seguir su intuición pirata: rebelarse tiene ventajas, pero también peligros. Aye es un juego colaborativo, pero con un toque social único, en el que el juego incentiva también los actos piratas individuales. Es un juego de motines, con la emoción de los juegos de dados, donde en un lanzamiento todo puede volverse gris o todo se puede salvar.
