A BRAIN-BENDING BATTLE OF BUTTONS ON BRIDGES!
Baju is an abstract strategy game for one or two players.
--- TWO PLAYER GAME ---
Place a button from your supply on an empty space that is next to one of your opponent’s buttons. Or alternatively, move one of your buttons on the board to another space, then remove any button that was already there and place it on the space you vacated.
Each of your buttons moves along the bridges by the exact number of spaces it indicates, one space at a time. A button cannot move along any bridges in the opposite colour. Backtracking is also not permitted.
You and your opponent alternate taking turns until one player creates a line of four of their buttons. That player wins the game!
--- SOLO GAME ---
Begin by randomly placing all sixteen buttons on the board.
Your goal is to rearrange the buttons to form a black line of four and a white line of four. (Or, for a harder challenge, form two black lines of four and two white lines of four.) Each line must match a line in the opposite colour, using the same values in the same order from the same perspective.
Move any button on the board to another space, using the same movement rules as the two player game. Continue doing this until you achieve your goal!
