Calamandara is a competitive and strategic board game, playable by 2 to 4 people. Here the playeres, called Travelers, must compete against each other to reach the center point of the board. Each traveler starts the game at the beginning of their respective board and to move his pawn around the the grid board he needs to use Dogmatic Symbols, which are tokens that have specific attributes.
Each Dogmatic Symbol has a different function that will help travelers navigate the board. As an example, some symbols help the traveler move faster while others can disrupt their opponents' journey to the center of the board.
While the use of Dogmatic Symbols happens and the players' pawns advance across the board, the travelers also use the Memory Cards, which serve to intensify their moves or cause sudden changes in their opponents' strategy. Those special cards are limited and travelers need to choose the right time to use them wisely.
To achieve victory, it is necessary to create a good strategy and make the right decisions, thinking about the present and the future. The multiple possibilities of using Dogmatic Symbols and Memory Cards will make players explore reasoning and risk management in their decisions.
The objective is simple: Whoever reaches the center of the board first, wins!
