The ancient world is populated by epidemics, one for each continent and with distinct characteristics. The bravest doctors are willing to cross their own continent to reach a teleportation portal that will take them to the future where they will find the treatments. The same portal will lead them back but they will have to bring the treatment back to the city they started from for saving their own population
