There were four major strata in ancient China: scholars, peasants, workers and merchants. They were the cornerstones of the society and created the prosperity we see in the history of Chinese civilization.
Four Big Strata is based on these four classes. During the game players will collect cards of different classes to make their own civilization. The scholars give orders, the peasants produce food, merchants pay tax and workers provide different kinds of technology for your society. You will have to feed them all and compete with the other civilizations. A balanced development is important as you, when the game is over, only will score for your least developed class.
Some tips for play in Tabletopia:
- Hover the deck of cards and scroll with the mouse to select all the cards you need every round.
- Remember to deselect all cards after placing them on the table (click somewhere on the table), before flipping the appropriate number of cards by hovering over them and pressing F.
- Use the bag to discard cards.
