Many stories have been told about Eidenbery House, and the strange air surrounding it. Perhaps it’s to be expected — after a century of dilapidation and disrepair, Eidenbery House is just a shadow of its former self.
Just like any other old town fixture, Eidenbery House is home to its very own ghost stories, all stemming from the murder that took place there over a century ago. It’s a tragic tale of a robbery gone wrong, ending in the deaths of all four of the Eidenberys. It’s said that the youngest died first — Henry Eidenbery, no older than one, smothered to death in his crib. The daughter, Jane, was next to go, having happened on the scene by chance. Her scream drew her parents, Thomas and Victoria, who died one after the other at the hands of the intruder.
And then, perhaps most chilling of all, the murderer’s body was found on the house’s doorstep, just one month after the murders took place.
Some say that Victoria Eidenbery still wanders the halls, crying out for her children. Some say that Thomas Eidenbery roams the rooms, searching for an intruder that will never arrive. Some say that it’s the murderer’s ghost trapped inside the house, kept there by his guilt. While they all differ, the stories do agree on one thing — that there most certainly is a ghost, and Eidenbery House is, most certainly, haunted.
Now, for these four students from Central Brook College, Eidenbery House is about to become a little more than a story.
Anna, a budding writer hoping to get published. All her research from writing horror stories is really starting to come in handy now…
Charlie, a chronically sleep-deprived artist content to go with the flow. His easy-going nature might just be his undoing…
Peter, a business major with something to prove. It’s a pity that he’s never been good with horror…
Mary, a baseball player on a sports scholarship who can never turn down a challenge. As far as she’s concerned, ghosts don’t exist…
Four students, brought together by chance. Will they make it out alive?
