Krakatoa – The lost island

This is a thematic and light euro game. The theme is rich but the design is focused on the mechanics. Your objective is to rescue animals from an island with an unstable volcano. The first part of the game focuses on moving around and collecting tokens which provide points. The volcano gradually grows more active as the game progresses and eventually it will erupt. From then on lava slowly fills the island and players must try to escape. Escaping successfully gives you bonus points but victory points are mostly gained from the animals you saved.
