Roman Empire

Roman Empire is set during the Late Empire circa AD 180 - 284, an era of political turmoil, dishonest, brutal and incompetent emperors, rebellious soldiers and a too-powerful Praetoran Guard who chose and diposed Emperors often without consulting the Senate.

Based upon the game Red Empire, players each take control of a faction in the Roman Empire, consisting of Patricians - the ruling elite, Senators - the politicians, and the Praetorian Guard - the Emperor's elite bodyguard. Players must work cooperatively to hold the Empire together, but must also seek to gain advantage over the other factions to become the ruling elite!
