Skeleton Crew is a four-player card game of begrudged cooperation and ulterior, Casanovian motives.
Players work to complete their shift’s janitorial tasks together – but things are not so simple! Alongside the publicly visible General Tasks, each player receives a hand of hidden, Personal Tasks; done in service of a post-shift wooing of their Lady of Death: The Lichmistress.
Players must play Supply Cards, convince their workmates they’ll work together, then turn around and complete their secret tasks at the end of the round.
Skeleton Crew aims to solicit banter and arguments between players, encouraging them to embody the personality of their boney, janitorial in-game counterparts and start arguments over whether they’re really going to help clip Cerberus’ nails, or if they’re going to go off and try to pull that flower out of the hinges of the perpetually swinging axes again.
Each card is accompanied by lovingly-made artwork and microfiction, with influences from properties like ‘Dungeons and Dragons’, ‘Discworld’, and ‘Adventure Time’.
