World Dominance (New World Order) is an out of this world game experience which enlightens by the ‘Fun Aspect’. Not only does the product proffer an optional Spelling test, the Intelligence Cards included educate in History, Geography, Arts, Literature, Psychology, Climatology, Geopolitics, Popular Culture, Personnel Management and more importantly in today’s climate, Spatial Awareness.
Players can also identify with their chosen World Leader Playing Piece when making quick strategic decisions to outwit their opponents. Besides, as well as the eight World Leader figures included in this edition, there are scores of Playing Pieces in the pipe line such as Boadicea (Europe),The Anzac (Australasia), Vladimir Lenin (Asia) and Winston Churchill (Europe).
Novelty Die like the Soldier Dice and the Continent Dice contribute to the overall entertainment factor, whilst the Political Asylum Space and the Resurrected Soldier Zone (RSZ) all make for compelling viewing. Not to mention that the Manoeuvre Cards tender all kinds of exciting twists and turns which enable every game to play out differently.
There are several variations/versions of the game (see rules for the British Islands version attached), and there are numerous intelligence/strategy/difficulty levels to negotiate. In essence, this game invention needs to be scaled up to the Play Station Platform.
Last but not least, if you like to fly solo, Doing Solitary is a must. When engaging with this version, you, alone, can attempt to usher in a New World Order by sequentially acquiring every Continent Card in the World Pack (see Rule Book – Strategic Runs, page 12).
