Enjoy classic game with a classic theme!

Adding Attika to Board Game Museum

We are further expanding our Board Game Museum with another classic game by the reknown German publisher Hans im Glück - Attika! This game from Marcel-André Casasola Merkle celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In Attika, set in the Ancient Greece, players must move fast to get the best land for themselves while blocking their opponents from good building spots. As building is expensive, players seek to save money by using the natural resources of the peninsula. Players also seek to organize their building in an order that allows building for free. The game is won by the first player to connect two shrines or to construct all 30 of their buildings.

In the Board Game Museum we proudly house timeless classics such as Chess, Backgammon, and Go, alongside an assortment of out-of-print modern games that have become increasingly rare to find. We are happy that now you can play Attika in digital format from any part of the world.
