You awaken in a vast, endless desert with nothing but a door on the horizon. Your friends are there too, but no one knows how you arrived. What lies beyond the door? Why are you here?
In Epilogue, the story is yours to create. Through word fragments, you and your friends will build a narrative together, deciding whether your final moments are filled with laughter, suspense, or something completely unexpected. Was it shenanigans, a heartbreaking farewell, or just a bizarre twist of fate?
How the Game Works
Playing Epilogue is easy, yet the creativity it sparks is boundless!
Each player starts with a card containing fragments of words. On your turn, you combine fragments to form a word, then pass the storytelling torch to another player, who must incorporate that word into the unfolding tale.
For example, if you form the word"BAT", the next player weaves that into the story—maybe a creature in the night, or a strange object lying on the ground. It’s up to them!
Players take turns, each adding new pieces to the story, building it word by word, until all the cards are played. The player who uses the final card will close the tale, bringing your shared adventure to its dramatic or humorous conclusion.
