Kettō is a card-based strategy game where two players take on the role of samurai during the Edo period, locked in a deadly duel. To win in Ketto you will need to use planning, memory, deceit, and a bit of good luck.
In Kettō two players face off in a duel, each using one of two identical decks of cards. The winner will be the first player to reveal their opponent’s Death card. This will be done by planning Attack movements, Defense movements, and executing them flawlessly.
The game is divided into two phases. The Planning phase allows players to prepare their Movements while the Battle phase lets players resolve their movements and respond to their adversary’s. The game ends when a player successfully attacks and reveals the Death card from among their opponent’s Vitality cards.
Made by a team of 2 and put out during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to bring some more joy to the world, Kettō is not available physically and is currently only planned to exist digitally.
