Robo Rescue: Origins — The Lab Is Open. Are You In?
Build your robot companion, secure your copy, and join the Late Pledge today
Silence Before Sparks
The lab is quiet. Cold steel. Dark monitors.
Then — a pulse. Blue light floods your console. Systems engage. Servo-arms hum softly in standby. Diagnostics blink to life.
You’re alone. No team. No oversight.
Just you, your schematics, and a table full of parts.
This isn’t about profit or warfare. It’s about something older, purer — the drive to build. To reach. To leave something behind that matters.
Your task: construct a robot worthy of the mission to Mars.
Welcome to Robo Rescue: Origins, the prologue to a much larger journey — and a test of everything you’ve learned as an engineer.
Design. Build. Repeat
Robo Rescue: Origins is a fast-playing, scalable set-collection card game where you assemble a robot companion piece by piece. Whether solo or with friends, each game challenges you to make precise, high-impact decisions — one component at a time.
Here’s how it works:
Set Up Your Lab: Lay out your lab — your personal building space.
Collect Parts: On your turn, draw robot part cards from the main deck or select from a face-up display.
Build Your Robot: Place the collected parts into your Workshop or Storage zones.
Evaluate your Lab: After placing your robot parts, evaluate your build by choosing the best scoring areas from the areas for the round.
Each card represents a different robot part, each with its own point value. After six rounds of intense design and assembly, it all comes down to your score — and whether your robot proves its worth against the competition.
PlaySolo to hone your skills. Or challenge friends, each with their own deck, in a fast-paced race to engineering excellence. The rules are easy to learn, the setup is minimal, and the playtime is just 10–15 minutes — but the challenge is real.
No fluff. No filler. Just you and the future you’re building.
Before the Rescue, There Was the Build
Robo Rescue: Origins isn’t just a game — it’s the narrative starting point for a much bigger mission.
This prequel leads directly into the upcoming Robo Rescue board game, where the robot you build in Origins returns — this time on Mars, facing programmed movement challenges and resource dilemmas as you fight to bring it safely home.
Everything you choose now — the parts, the design, the strategy — feeds into the emotional arc of the full campaign.
And with charming, clean art by Zoltán Nagy, each robot takes on a personality all its own. The illustrations bring warmth and character to the cold metal you assemble — helping you connect with what you build, and feel the stakes behind every decision.
Each copy of Origins comes packed in a single tuck box. It’s language independent, easy to transport, and always ready for another round.
Accessible. Strategic. Replayable.
All heart. All mind.
