Bonfire, Stronghold, Vikings Gone Wild — A Triumvirate of New Games for Mobile Platforms

Choose your role: fortress defender, keeper of the light, or Viking clan chief

Steel, magic, and longships - three legends ready to unfold in the palm of your hand.

We are also available on mobile platforms for both Android and iOS, and we are regularly expanding our library of available titles. Today, we have prepared a review of three major projects already accessible in our mobile collection. Rigorous challenges await you: whether it’s a tactical duel in a besieged castle, a solo or group quest to restore sacred bonfires, or the competitive construction of a Viking village. Bonfire, Stronghold, and Vikings Gone Wild offer a genuine challenge to your strategic thinking. It’s time to uncover the mechanics hidden beneath their vibrant digital shells.

Bonfire - Restore the Flame to a Fading World

A complex strategy from the master of Euro-games, Stefan Feld. In a world where the ancient bonfires have gone out and the Guardians have abandoned their posts, players must lead groups of gnomes striving to bring light back to their cities. Bonfire invites you to immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere of restoring harmony, available for both solo play and groups of up to 4 players.

The heart of the game lies in meditative yet deep planning. The core mechanic revolves around "Fate Tiles" that you place on your player board. Each correctly connected tile grants specific action tokens: sailing between islands, gathering resources, or recruiting specialists. Your task is to fulfill the Guardians' challenging quests to ignite the fires on ritual altars. Every ignited flame opens new paths to victory and fills your city with life.

This is a game about finding the perfect balance between personal goals and collective progress. You will pave paths to portals and guide novices to sacred sites, creating chains of efficient moves. Within the digital interface, the complexity of Bonfire’s interconnections becomes clear, allowing you to focus on the ultimate goal: returning warmth and light to this mysterious world.

Stronghold (2nd Edition) - The Art of Siege and Defense

Stronghold is an uncompromising duel for 2 players, recreating the chaos and grandeur of a medieval assault. One player takes on the role of the Invader, commanding a vast Horde of goblins, orcs, and trolls, while the second becomes the Defender, holding the final lines on the citadel walls and turning the fortress stones into an impregnable bastion.

The game's crown jewel is the unique "Hourglass" mechanic. Here, time is tangible: every action taken by the Invader - whether redeploying goblins or building siege towers - grants the Defender precious moments. Time translates directly into reinforcing walls, boiling cauldrons of oil, and setting traps. This unique resource exchange means the Invader’s aggression directly fuels the Defender’s counter-measures.

You have only seven rounds at your disposal. If even a single Invader breaks into the citadel by the end of the seventh day, the castle falls. Will you hold the gates, or will you crush them with the might of your siege engines? This epic drama now unfolds directly on the screen of your mobile device.

Vikings Gone Wild - Thunder Over the Fjords: A Test for True Chiefs

Are you ready to prove to the gods that your clan is worthy of Valhalla? In Vikings Gone Wild, you will lead a settlement of rugged but charismatic Vikings in a competition for the title of the most renowned chief. This dynamic strategy for 2-4 players turns every round into a thrilling chase for Glory points, where the clinking of coins is drowned out only by the shouts of attacking warriors. The game offers more than just shuffling cards; it challenges you to build a robust economic engine within your settlement. This tactical depth is now fully accessible on mobile platforms.

The primary interest lies in the division of the game into two phases: Production and Action. Your starting deck is weak, but as the game progresses, you buy cards from a shared pool, forming your clan's unique specialization. A key feature is the construction of buildings (Town Hall, Storages, Resource buildings) that provide passive bonuses and increase your storage limits for Gold and Beer. Managing these resources correctly determines whether you can afford elite warriors or if you should invest in strengthening your defenses.

But never forget: a true Viking lives for the raid. It’s a high-stakes balancing act between building your economy and launching daring raids. Player interaction here reaches its peak: you can attack your opponents' buildings, forcing them to spend cards on defense while you earn precious Glory for every victory.
