1. ...and then, we held hands.

...and then, we held hands.

…and then we held hands is a non-verbal, cooperative game about balancing relationships. Without speaking, the two players must strategically play cards to meet the emotional objectives of the players, each from their own perspective.

 

…and then we held hands was designed by David Chircop and Yannick Massa as part of Global Game Jam in 2014 where it won both Best Board Game and People’s Choice Awards.

 

Number of Players: 2

Playing time: 30 − 45 min.

Suggested age: 12+

2. Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre are five coastal villages in the Liguria region of Italy known for their beauty, culture, food, and proximity to one another. Produce carts are commonly found in each village marketplace.

 

In Cinque Terre, a game of strategy, players compete to sell the most valuable produce in the five villages. Players act as farmers and operate a cart in which they will harvest produce and deliver them to the five villages to sell.

 

Number of Players: 2 − 5

Playing time: 60 min.

Suggested age: 13+

3. Roll Player

Roll Player

In Roll Player, players compete to create the greatest fantasy adventurer. Roll and draft dice to assemble character attribute scores. Purchase weapons and armor to outfit your hero. Train to gain skills and discover your hero’s traits to prepare them for their journey. Earn Reputation by constructing the perfect character. The player with the highest Reputation wins the game and will surely triumph over whatever nefarious plot lies ahead!

Playing time: 60 − 90 min.

Suggested age: 10+

4. Looting Atlantis

Looting Atlantis

The mightiest civilization in the world has been struck by disaster: the volcano at the center of the continent of Atlantis has erupted and will destroy everything! Most of the inhabitants are

fleeing for their lives to the other, less civilized continents.

 

You and a few other crafty citizens have decided to do the same but in addition, have decided

to finance your future by stealing some Atlantean super technology. When you settle down in

whatever backwards continent you choose, these treasures should provide you and your family with a cozy little nest egg for the future. So, hop in your air car and dodge streams of hot lava while you load up with high tech machinery and loot Atlantis!
